Position: Video Journalist

Kent TV was the first online video news service in the UK run by Bob Geldoff production company Ten Alps and financed by Kent County Council. Recruited as freelance video journalist to research and develop stories, film on location, interview subjects and edit produce final videos for the web. Working at Kent TV was challenging as the requirement was to do every production role in producing the final video. This was demanding as you had to make new videos every day from the Maidstone Studios in Kent.

ROLES:

Researcher of local news stories

Consultant and point of contact with Kent County Council

Location camera operator for stories in the county of Kent

Interviewer and presenter of stories

Edit producer of final videos

Web hosting and final delivery of videos to the web

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Succeeded in successfully producing daily video stories for the website

Reporting and edit producing multiple stories about the people and events in the Kent region

Taking on all roles of production which included researching stories, filming on location, filming interviews while asking questions, edit producing final videos
